Newsletter 18 December 2020

The Christmas Countdown is over!
This Autumn term is coming to an end and we have successfully remained Covid free. Your support has been really appreciated. Thank you for taking note of the symptoms, taking the appropriate government advice, testing and then keeping us informed.

If you are travelling over the Christmas holiday please remember to follow the latest government advice and isolate and quarantine when required. If your house develops Covid19 symptoms prior to 24th December please remember to inform the school via email: so that we can perform the necessary track and trace requirements.

I am very proud to be part of the Hook Infant School community. Children have shown incredible resilience and taken to the new rules without complaint, parents have facilitated a positive vibe towards school with their children and staff have dealt with so many challenges with a “can do” approach to everything.

We hope you enjoy the Christmas videos that will be sent with a link to your child's class or year group movie. Please may I remind parents to enjoy these special moments in a safe way and be mindful to our privacy rules and not sharing on social media sites.

Thank you to the HSPA for the gingerbread men and Father Christmas for joining our class Christmas parties. A magical experience for everyone.

All that is left to say is we hope that you all have a safe and healthy Christmas break and we look forward to seeing children return to school on Tuesday 5th January 2021.
Merry Christmas to you all.
Everyone was lovely and warm and cosy on pyjama day and Toby was just amazed that our school Governors arrived virtually on the whiteboard to present him with an award for this term. Mrs Newberry even joined her Penguin Class dressed as Santa for lunch duty.
