Village Connect Trail

15th September 2021
Village Connect Trail

This is a sponsored walk to raise money for local schools, encouraging participation and engagement for all in a fun outdoor event.

It is hoped this will help our villages come together as a community with a common goal, while supporting local pubs and outlets as you follow as much or as little of the trail as you wish.

The Village Connect Trail is on mainly footpaths, covering 16 miles in length connecting Hartley Wintney, Hook and Odiham and has been produced as a post COVID opportunity for our communities to get out in the fresh air and raise money through sponsorship for our local schools.

The Hook & Odiham Lions Club and Rotary Club of Odiham and Hook have organised this event with the help of other Village Connect partners and schools, and like other charitable organisations have had almost no fund-raising events for more than a year but identified this opportunity to assist local schools directly, who themselves have faced quite unique challenges during the pandemic.  The event will take place on 25th  & 26th September 2021 and start at a place on the route and a time of your choosing.
