Hook Pollination Stations Project

The conservation charity Buglife has created a B-Line project to link up habitats by creating and enhancing wildlife corridors for pollinators and flying insects. Unfortunately, Hook falls between these lines, so we decided to create our own Bee-Lines project* to join up habitats for pollinators across Hook. It is hoped that this will also be adopted on a wider scale by other organisations in the village to create a series of pollinator stepping stones that could potentially be expanded and linked up over time.

See the interactive map below for our Hook Bee-Lines project. You can click on the bees to read more about each 'Pollinator Zone' and see photos of these spaces. (We are currently updating the map so some features may not be visible at this time)

*We are changing our project name to Pollination Stations as we are aiming to attract a variety of pollinators, not just bees.
