Congratulations and a sad farewell….

HUGE congratulations to Mrs Padfield who has secured a new position at Hatch Warren Infant school where she is going to be their new Deputy Headteacher from 17th April 2023. Mrs Padfield, then Miss Smith, came to Hook Infant school as a newly qualified teacher in September 2014, she has since successfully taken on many roles including class teacher, year group leader, maths leader and member of the senior leadership team. She is an inspirational teacher and leader who is going to be greatly missed by both the children and staff here at Hook Infants.  We wish Mrs Padfield every success in her new Deputy Headteacher role and know that our loss is Hatch Warren’s gain.

Welcome ….

We would like to welcome Miss Natasha Kinge, who will be starting at Hook Infant School at the beginning of the Summer term and will be the new Starfish Class teacher.  Miss Kinge is currently teaching at Heatherside Infant School in Fleet but will be returning to Hook Infant School after starting her own school journey here. Miss Kinge has been teaching for eight years and brings with her great enthusiasm and an ethos and values that very much match our own Hook Infant School ones. I am sure you will make Miss Kinge very welcome when you see her in the Summer Term.

For the Summer Term, Miss Spencer will be taking on the role of Key Stage One leader and will be leading Year 1 as well as Year 2.
